Explore Savaii - There is much to see and do on our Beautiful Island and one can do this easily with a rental car or via public transport. We boast several white sandy beaches which are clean and un-crowded. The environment is lush, green, pristine and untouched. Don't miss out on visiting some of our more exotic Black sand beaches either. Never seen a turtle?? Well a leisurely drive westward will take you to a place where you can swim with several! Explore our lava fields Strawn with old ruins and mystical legends, visit our breath taking blow holes and swim in some of the most pristine freshwater pools at the base of beautiful waterfalls - these are only some of the things you can expect to do while you enjoy your stay with us!

Enjoy the Culture - The people of Samoa are very much in touch with traditions and their culture. The ways of their forefathers many hundreds of years ago are maintained still today despite decades of colonization. A village or island tour is not to be missed while you are here. Come walk through a village and watch a traditional ceremony taking place in a Samoan meeting house. Watch the women weave hats mats and bags in open "fales'' or houses. Wake up to the smell of the traditional 'umu' or earth oven as it bakes a family's' meal for the day. See how the boys in the village build one and have a go at it yourself! The people of Savaii are laid back and friendly. If you are interested, they are willing to share.

Beaches - Although the Savaiian Hotel does not have a swimming beach, sandy beaches are only a 10 minute drive away! Faga and Lano beaches are a short trip North of our location, and boast several beachfale sandy fronts where one can laze the hours of the day away getting a tan or snorkelling!

Kayaks can be hired at the front desk. Singles and double available.

Snorkeling gear is also available for hire to explore the waterfront coral reefs

Tours are arranged at the front desk - we offer round the island tours as well as local Samoan Village tours so that you don't miss out on a glimpse of our traditional Samoan ways that have survived through hundreds of years.
